Project XY (2026)

Combining a talent-search competition with a BL dating reality format, the show brings six men to a seaside house, where they meet as strangers and search for the partners who match them best. Through shared experiences and developing connections, they explore attraction, compatibility, and the possibility of becoming a couple. At the same time, the program follows a larger entertainment project designed to discover and develop the main and supporting couples for a company’s debut BL drama. Connecting talent development, drama production, fan engagement, and merchandise, the show aims to build a platform for Chinese-language BL content with international reach. Recommended for You: If you enjoy BL dating shows, romantic chemistry, reality competitions, and behind-the-scenes talent discovery, this program offers a mix of relationship-building and entertainment industry insights as six men search for meaningful connections and potential on-screen partnerships.
