You Should Be the One to Kiss Me (2026)

At first glance, Ueno and Kanda seem like complete opposites. Ueno is a cool, serious member of the accounting department, while Kanda is the cheerful, sociable star of the sales team. Yet behind closed doors, the two share a close friendship, with Kanda frequently spending time at Ueno’s home. When Ueno reveals that he is gay, their relationship becomes more complicated, especially as Kanda continues to approach him with the same carefree warmth. Beneath his easygoing exterior, however, Kanda is troubled by Ueno’s past declaration that nothing could ever happen between them. As their friendship deepens and they grow increasingly important to each other, both men find themselves confronting feelings they may not fully understand. Will they remain just friends, or will the bond they share finally open the door to something more?
